    New Trailer?

Watched g4 last night about their e3 visit and they showed an exclusive trailer of CoH. While the video itself was pretty good, I was wondering why Relic went with a intro that alot of other WWII games have already used and didnt show off the nature of the game.

If I never heard of CoH and didnt see other videos and saw this for this first time, I would think oh another Call of Duty Game.

Dont get me wrong it was well done but it leaves too much out and IMO the first trailer I saw of this game with the patrol and MG attack would have peaked interest more.

For those that may not of saw it, it was basically a scene of americans storming the beaches of Normandy under intense fire, with some great explosions and a darker ending.

Unless of course they labelled the wrong trailer....

You do know CoH is an RTS game while Call of Duty is FPS?

Yes, but is that apparent from the trailer? That was his point, I believe.

And the point is a good one.
I personally want to see gameplay in a video presentation to be able to decide wether the game suits me or not (with coh this is out of the question of course, but with other games it might not be that easy).

Yes, my point was that the trailer could have been for a FPS,RTS,MMO, Hybrid from all you could tell, plus it was the Normandy scene which everyone has used one way or another.

For some games that may have so so gameplay, a graphically enhanced CG movie may get some people in, but CoH should promote its strengths which is awesome AI.
