#627 - Nothing against the thread. I'm floored at the amount of time it's taking. That's all . Love reading the reports.

Edit: To below post, don't mistake me. I am in no way complaining. Indeed, the time keeps me coming back and checking for more every couple of days. I appreciate it very much. Keep up the excelent work.

It's not as quick and easy as you might assume.
It's not exactly a small competition. There have been close to 300 fights to do.
Approximately 900 rounds of dice rolling. Each of which is recorded in a nice, big, blue book so I can recall for mistakes and for error reports.
Plus at this late stage, I need to leave a few days between rounds. Otherwise it's all just over in a flash.

And there won't be second chances any more. We have a nice number to use now.
And the next round will be posted later tonight.

EDIT : However, if people do feel it is progressing too slowly then let me know. I'll fix that up easily enough.

The suspense is good Moo. If you did these in how much time they would actually take you they would be all done in a couple of hours. I am still hoping i win though.

Moo, did you receive my Email?
Yeah, but I haven't read it yet.
For some reason my computer doesn't like Hotmail. I can get into it, but when I try to read an email, send an email or pretty much anything it closes down.

I'll make sure I get to it asap and get back to you

Speaking as a total bystander now Moo, I'd say take however much time you feel like taking. You're the big boss and grand master of these tourneys, we're just along for the ride and to enjoy the show.

I won!!! Woo HOO . Man lol that was such a great line up. I feel a bit bad for evil eye though, I actually planned my choice around the idea of facing genestealers and orks because of the massive amount of fire i can put out before they get to me. Good luck to everyone in these final rounds. MAy the best entry win.

Yeah it really could have. With those 6 attacks you could have easily claimed their lives, but she who thirsts must favour me. It was a good batttle though it reallly had me sweating right till the end.

The Librarian took his next opportunity with both hands. Easily laying the remaining Purgitator.

They thought it was true love...they were never ready for that librarian's smooth moves or his fancy talk.

Good game, Dropkick. I was terrified of facing Orks with my small, possibly tiny, squad of marines.

"That librarian was a two faced bitch!" fumed Sanctified Brother Constalis as he polled his frilly lingerie down over his power armour.
Brothers Hydras and Tecunien made small murmurs of agreement from over in the jaccuzi. Before they could voice their opinions Justicar Terminus strode into the room. Taking a long drag on his cigarette, then pausing to take a carefully measured sip on his martini [pinky out, of course; the Justicar had savoir faire] before setting it delicately as a thunderhawk down on the edge of the bed.
"He was good in bed, though." The lights dimmed.

Wow. Dropkick and Nareik out in one round. There goes my expectations for who was going to win. Although I'm kinda happy I don't have to get pummeled by Dropkick again, I had enough of that in the first round.

I will use my GFs comp at some stage and reply to you.

Thats funny, I won against cfoley and he goes through to the semi's and i lose against mig mek and he goes out. That shows how much luck there is in the game. Not just the battles, but the draws of the matches as well. :fencing:

    Good Game psygunner.

Looking at the remaining entrants, I can't say I'm confident about my Death Company's chances against any of them. In fact, I'd say my entry is the softest of the final four. I would love a chance to take out the Orks, simply because they are the current favourites

  44. #694
Nice game, Murphy. It's been a few times now, when my butt was saved by the frenzied champion.

Cfoley, your post resembles exactly what I wanted to write about my Berserkers

Moo, question for the next CCC (yup I'm already planning for it). Would a group of tomb spyders be allowed to create a scarab each before moving into CC?

Well, Moo needs a rest after this 3rdCCC before playing another one!
I've suggested something special to him and he seems appreciates that, but for those details we'll still have to wait.
ps. If it's still CCC then don't take my Khrone Lord. If you do, prepare to receive 3D6+3 monsterous attacks on the charge from something in my stock:/

And the Lord MooFreaky said unto his servants "I wish there to be just two forces remaining!".
There was much whaling and gnashing of teeth. "Now!" cried the Lord
And thus the servants did battle amongst themselves until the weakest of them had been cleft in twain. And theer was a great many tears being shed, both in grievous weeping of those that had been smote, as well as tears of utter delight at standing victorious upon thine heathens who's presence was weak.
And now just two remained, until such a time when the Lord would decide that there shalt only be one.
