Edit: To below post, don't mistake me. I am in no way complaining. Indeed, the time keeps me coming back and checking for more every couple of days. I appreciate it very much. Keep up the excelent work.

It's not exactly a small competition. There have been close to 300 fights to do.
Approximately 900 rounds of dice rolling. Each of which is recorded in a nice, big, blue book so I can recall for mistakes and for error reports.
Plus at this late stage, I need to leave a few days between rounds. Otherwise it's all just over in a flash.
And there won't be second chances any more. We have a nice number to use now.
And the next round will be posted later tonight.
EDIT : However, if people do feel it is progressing too slowly then let me know. I'll fix that up easily enough.

The Fight
The two Tyranid forces stood head to head.
The Tyrant firing it's bilogical weapons at the Raveners and visa versa.
With a massive explosion of goo and crap the Tyrant killed 1 of the Raveners and wounded the survivors once each.
The living ammuniton fired toward the Tyrant and his bodyguard managed to wound both Tyranids once.
The forces then charged into eachother. The Tyrant would need to use his initiative advantage, or face a whole plathora of attacks.
The Winner
The Tyrant didn't fail. It cut down all 3 Raveners with its mighty talons.

The Fight
With veil of time active the Epistolary moved with alarming agility, easily evading the flame and bolter fire being thrown his way.
Despite the Grey Knight's best efforts they simply failed to wound the Librarian.
The Winner
Moving into melee the Librarian cut the throats of 3 of the Purgitators. However, the remaining Grey Knight would not go easily. Swinging his Nemisis Force Weapon the warrior managed to wound the Epistolary, however, thanks to his Terminator Armour, the Invulnerable Save came to the rescue.

The Librarian took his next opportunity with both hands. Easily laying the remaining Purgitator.

Evil_Eye vs Mig Mek
The Fight
The Genestealers rushed forward, running straight through the hail of sonic weaponary being aimed at them. Despite losing 4 warriors, the Tyranids were unphased.
Leaping into melee with the Noise Marines the Tyranids slew 3 of Slaanesh's favoured warriors.
In return, however, they also lost 3.
Both forces now stood in a precarious position.

The 3rd phase saw the Tyranids manage to kill just 1 Noise Marine, thanks to a rending blow.

The Chaos Marines also managed to kill just 1 Tyranid...
Leaving 2 warriors from each force alive.

Terracomm7 vs Dooks DizzoThe Fight
The PigDok was on the ball today, remembering to bring his injections to the battle. Thus, the boyz would be fighting with +1 Strength.
The battlefield errupted with a mass of DAKKADAKKADAKKA. The Orks levelling a single Plague Marines. However, the combination of Flamers, Plasmas and Bolters killed the 3 Gretchin Orderlies and 9 Madboyz.
The Winner
11 Boyz remained (including the Dok), as the Boyz began to charge. However, they failed to WAAAGH! (a 12 was rolled!!), so the Plague Marines would strike first!
The Winner
The Plague Marines cut down 3 of the lumbering Orks as they slunk into melee.
Their retaliation saw just 2 Plague Marines fall.
Now the Aspiring Champion stepped forward and crush another boy with his mighty Power Fist.
Just 7 Boyz remained... against 3 Plague Marines and their Champion.
The Winner
Their numbers were dwindling, so the Boyz were VERY relieved when they had just 1 more boy killed by the Plague Marines. So happy, in fact, that it appeared to kick start their momentum and the 6 boyz killed 3 Plague Marines!

The Champion lashed out with his knife and managed to kill 2 boyz, however it was not enough. The remaining warriors saw him brought down.

Gru6y vs VeryBad
The Fight
Neither side had need for ranged combat today, as the Beserkers wre overcome with fury and charged forward.
Their fercocious charge took 4 wounds from the mighty Carnifex. In return for this, the Tyranid killed 2 of the Beserkers.
The Winner
The Beserkers countinued to hack away, desperately trying to get that final wound.
And then it came! They managed to cause a single wound on the Carnifex! And with their weapons reducing its save to 4+ things were hopeful.

Saved!
The Carnifex kept its feet and crushed another Beserker in its mightly claws.

Continuing their struggle the servants of Khorne this time caused 2 wounds!!

The Carnifex would not die! And it took another 2 Marines this round. Leaving just 3 warriors alive.

The Beskers hacked and slashed at every part of the Carnifex that presented itself. This time it was the Aspiring Champion that did something. His mighty Daemonic weapon taking a wound from the Carnifex.

The Fight
Letting lose a combination of slugga fire and flame, the Orks smote 9 Daemonettes.
With a WAAAGH! the Orks charged into melee, only to be disturbed by the Daemonettes' Warp Scream.
Striking first the Slaaneshi Daemons ripped apart 5 of the boyz.
The Winner
However, it was not nearly enough. The ferocious Orks bringing down the remaining Daemonettes.

CannonFodder vs Psygunner
The Fight
The IG platoon and the Eldar exchanged fire. The elegant eldar weapons sliced the flesh of 4 Guardsmen. While the brutal human weapons blew holes on 7 of the Eldar. However, 2 plasma weapons overheated and killed their carriers.
Charging into melee, the Black Guardians of Ulthwe were brutal. Eaily dispatching the remaining Guardsmen and claiming the battlefield.

Dropkick vs Cfoley
The Fight
The Death Company would march to battle with the Chaplain and 5 Warriors.
In the shooting phase neither side managed to kill anyone from the other.
With a WAAAGH! the Orks charged! However, their charge was met by the Furious Charge of the Death Company.
Striking hard the Marines levelled 11 Boyz. Taken aback by this ferocity, the Orks failed to do any damage.
The Winner
The price of such failure was high, being easily killed by the remaining Marines.

I feel a bit bad for evil eye though, I actually planned my choice around the idea of facing genestealers and orks because of the massive amount of fire i can put out before they get to me. Good luck to everyone in these final rounds. MAy the best entry win.

Yeah it really could have. With those 6 attacks you could have easily claimed their lives, but she who thirsts must favour me. It was a good batttle though it reallly had me sweating right till the end.

Good game, Dropkick. I was terrified of facing Orks with my small, possibly tiny, squad of marines.
"That librarian was a two faced bitch!" fumed Sanctified Brother Constalis as he polled his frilly lingerie down over his power armour.
Brothers Hydras and Tecunien made small murmurs of agreement from over in the jaccuzi. Before they could voice their opinions Justicar Terminus strode into the room. Taking a long drag on his cigarette, then pausing to take a carefully measured sip on his martini [pinky out, of course; the Justicar had savoir faire] before setting it delicately as a thunderhawk down on the edge of the bed.
"He was good in bed, though." The lights dimmed.

Wow. Dropkick and Nareik out in one round. There goes my expectations for who was going to win. Although I'm kinda happy I don't have to get pummeled by Dropkick again, I had enough of that in the first round.

The Fight
The Skarboyz stood opposed Khorne's Beserkers.
Both forces moved forward, firing their weapons at eachother. The Skarboyz killed a single Beserker with their mass of Slugga Fire.
The Beserkers managed to miss every single shot!
Moving into melee the Orks WAAAGH!-ed, but they were unable to match the Furious Charge of the Beserkers. The servants of Khorne cut down 11 of the Boyz. However, they lost 4 of their own in return, thanks largely to the 3 Burnas being wielded.
The Winner
Battling on, the Beserkers killed another 3 Orks. However, the cost came at 2 more lives.
With just their Aspiring Champion left, against 2 Burna wielding Skarboyz, the battle could easily swing either way.

Wiedling his Daemonic Blade, the Beserker Champion sliced the heads off both Orks. Victory to Khorne!

The crazy Orks were itching for a fight. Boosted by an injection from their PigDok, the boyz were absolutely insane for a fight. Charging blindly forward they spreyed their weapons in the general direction of the Epistolary, who easily danced through the hail of fire thanks to Veil of Time.

Charging into the Ork lines the Librarian cut down 3 Styboyz and 2 of the Madboyz.

It was definately not enough, as the Choppa wielding Madboyz easily brought down the Epistolary.

Thats funny, I won against cfoley and he goes through to the semi's and i lose against mig mek and he goes out. That shows how much luck there is in the game. Not just the battles, but the draws of the matches as well. :fencing:

Looking at the remaining entrants, I can't say I'm confident about my Death Company's chances against any of them. In fact, I'd say my entry is the softest of the final four. I would love a chance to take out the Orks, simply because they are the current favourites

The Fight
The forces of Khorne stood opposed the rampant, yet slightly zaney, force of Greenskins.
Desperate for any advantage, the Dok overloaded da Boyz with a mass of stimulants, granting them unnatural strength. Something desperately needed against the terrible forces of Chaos.
The Winner
The Beserkers fired their Bolt Pistols as moved forward. They were comletely unmoved by the massive DAKKADAKKADAKKADAKKADAKKA coming from the Ork lines.
A clever Madboy threw a couple of Styboyz infront of the bolter fire, protecting the mob. Meaning that just the two Styboyz were killed.
Despite their mass of fire, the Orks managed to kill just a single Beserker.
The Winner
Hurling themselves into battle with untold fury, the Beserkers cut down the remaining styboy (who was being used as an effective buckler at the time) as well as 10 of the Madboyz.
The Winner
The Orks were furious at their losses, striking back with Orkish savagery. The Beserkers were stabbed, shot, burned, bitten, scratched, poked and generally beaten until none of them remained standing.
The Winner
The Orks had carried this day.

The Fight
The Death Company of the Blood Angles would take on the mighty Hive Tyrant and his Guard.
The Tyrant having lost just a single game the entire tournament... (the best record of all the remaining competitors)
The Death Company would march to battle with the Reclusiarch leading 5 Space Marines.
The Winner
The Death Company fired their Bolt Pistols as they moved forward, wounding the massive Hive Tyrant with a lucky shot.
In return, the Tyranids bio-weapons wounded the Chaplian.
The Winner
The forces met in a brutal melee, where the Hive Tyrant managed to slice the Chaplain another wound.
The Chaplain, in return, managed to land just a single hit (despite being able to re-roll misses on the charge!) This single hit fialed to wound.
The Tyrant's Guard and the Death Company then exchanged blows, but neither force managed to do any damage.
The Winner
The second melee phase saw the Tyand fail to do anything constructive.
The Guard and the Chaplian then traded blows with the Guard failing to accomplish anything, while the Reclusiarch pulled something out of nowhere. The Marine wounding the Tyrant and its Guard once each.
The remaining Marines again accomplished nothing.
The Winner
The Tyrant ripped apart one of the Death Company, and was rewarded by being dealt another wound by the Space Marine leader.
The Space Marines finally did something useful, dragging down the Tyrant's Guard and slaying the beast.
The Winner
Phase 4 saw everyone involved failing to accomplish anything, however they did do some cool looking spins and fly kicks.
The Winner
The 5th melee phase, and the Tyrant roared to life. The best cut down 2 Space Marines. Next turn it would be in a position to threaten victory in a single phase.

Unfortunately, the beast had been whittled down over time and finally the Chaplian was able to land the killer blow.
