Yes well Those days are long past and far behind me Mr. Langy, I does promise that. I am me and that is all. (Oh and does keeping the rules outlaw my glorious Teleron scenes??? Or the Firestar?). Don't worry though Langy, Blade Song or Corporate Wars will not be returning by my hand.

Interesting, I shall consider reviving my old habit of posting occasionally in some fashion or another. Perhaps I shall start by joining in on something. . .

Yes well, new energies require fresh ideas. Not old Unread folk like myself. Yet to be perfectly honest, I miss the exciting days of the OSSBW. So I shall stick around for a few weeks or so, see how things go.

I was thinking about creating a Zoids Boardwar after GWIII is over. You would be the captain of your own Zoid Team as you battle to increase rank and such and go on other adventures. It would be mainly focused around New Century Zero/Chaotic Century and Gaurdian Force. You wont start out with any Liger Zeros or Beserk Furies and such but there will be organiods/Black Box systems and a system of rank and equipment. Those who are up for lend me a hand with support.

Zoids, from what I can recall, is a mecha anime in which roaming groups of mech pilots compete against eachother in official capacities for various reasons (tournaments, conflicts, whatever) using animal-shaped "Zoids".

Of course I only saw two or three episodes.

I have heard of them, never really cared about them though, Always liked transformers better, and Star wars, and other things like Homeworld. I don't have much stomach for the anime themes.

You're watching the wrong anime, then, Gialus. Plenty of good stuff out there aside from Zoids and Pokemon.

    Incidentally, Transformers are technically anime.

Mecha never really was my thing.

I'm putting together an idea for a blackpowder/fanatsy style boardwar set in a setting similar to the wild west. Cowboys and all that jazz.

If anyone would like to team up with me for a fantasy boardwar based around Star Wars Republic Commando, I'd be a happy person. This would be the first star wars boardwar around in a while.

Elite-Zealot: I would like to help with the SW:RC boardwar, if you want.

Edit @ Kaito: ... I sorry. I didn't read the name so clearly. Just quickly checked the Avatar.

Edit2: And now I'm making fool of myself, in public... oh god...

Edit3: If you look carefully you can see that I posted at the RC thread before I made this post .

Sorry to all that needed me... but access is a bit turbulent right now. I'm in the process of moving a state over (from Mass to Connecticut) and when I get there, I will barely have access to a computer. So I intend to return at some point in the future (within a month or so) but right now I just don't have time. See you all later.

I'm currently on something approaching a holiday, with internet access- so I should be around to continue with GW and everything else, despite my legendary timing. However, I'll probably be around less than I normally am.

Edit: yah, this internet connection is terrible. I should be able to manage a post a day or so, but no more...

    sweet!

    Welcome back mate.
An exausted figure pushed his way through the fray, saluting hurridly. "Five-Hundred-And-Fifty-One Postcount Malitia reportiung for duty, sah!" Then Warmaster Death looked around, and threw down his blade in disgust. "F**k it, just after the nick of time. Why does this always happen to us?"

    Tis a sad day.

Made worse that Elite is back... I mean better..haha.

Yeah I think we need a live BW besides Immortals right now, just ahving one active BW is shameful and boring for those not in it.

Really novel idea I'm throwing out here, Zealot, but maybe you could actually start one... I was all up for the 40k war except we never got any setting, objectives and were never told to begin. That way, it'd be more likely to survive, really.

Hmm interesting one BW in action, that is sad. . . Well I can't say as I am surprised, it is the beginning of a school year, college, hs and other, hey not everyone can post as often. Yadda yadda.

Why do you base all your boardwars off of magic, or 40K? Perhaps I should introduce you all to the Crossover Chaos boardwar, get your blood pumping for something completely different. . .

Well why not, we do try o be original, and from time to time people say we haven't had this kind of BW in a long time.

So what's your idea, expand a bit.

Ah the joys of Crossover Chaos. . . an explanation needed? Oh dear, how does one explain the chaos that ensures that everyone has fun? Umm ok I will give it a try.

You a certain person of a certain personality being friends with the others on your bus, enjoying the better things in life and travelling all across the world, come to be by some mysterious and altogether laughable trapped in some government experiment. And there the fun begins. I being the Boardwarrior who is boss decides where you go and the things you face along the way. So you and your 'friends' are sent through various times, places, universes with absolutely no clue how to get home. Of course you would naturally start out as ordinary people, say for the case of argument as a bussload of hippies, then according to a predetermined (by me of course) location and time you would find yourselves drifting in your bus through space. (wow an airtight bus) and you must in some way find out where and why you are there.

Naturally you will be seen by an enemy (Who flies around in some big grey pie shaped vessels) and picked up. and your adventure begins. . .

Of course this is a fairly freeform character boardwar of the utmost chaos. It can be a nice diversion from the normal fleet/character/army boardwars that are rampant.

Sounds interesting, it would certainly be a change.

Ninety Nine Nights - Shorthand Story.

There was this dude, a demon, later to be called the King of Ninety Nine Nights, who brought his wrath to the peaceful world of...(I don't think they said) But anyways the united lands of Goblins, Orcs, Elves, Dark elves, Humans, Dragons and Trolls was bathed in turmoil. Day turned to night, and the war began, for ninety nine nights the demon held the world in his grasp until an expedition of mighty Temple Knights defeated him, they retrieved a special Orb, one half light the other dark to restore balance.

But the master of the Orb was killed, the Orb shattered, a human disciple was seen running away with the light half, and a goblin one with the dark. The Goblin's blamed humanity for the damage and a new war began, a war that carries on to this day, The War With No Name (I'm serious).

But dark things approach, the war is coming to it's final chapter and humanity looks like it can win, with the help of it's warriors who are protected by the light that is.

Inphyy - a young Temple Knight girl wielding a greatsword. Light Orb.
Aspharr - Inphyy's brother, he wields a lance. Light Orb.
    Myifee - Double-blade. Fire Orb.
Tyurru - 12 year old water sorceress girl, with a water sprite familiar. Water Orb.
Dwingvatt - Albino goblin dual blades wielder. Wind Orb.
Klarrann - Staff wielder. Soul Orb.

Now that gives you an idea of what weapons are used and the breadth of possibilty in the Orb department, but it still needs explanation.

Orb spark wielders as they are called are one man armies, they can rack up thousands of hits in minutes and kill hundreds in the same time. Their weapons are empowered with their aligned orb, so fiery attacks for Fire, fast attacks for Wind. They can take more hits run faster, run longer, jump higher and jump further than any mere soldier. They quite literally throw enemies about.

Then there is the death of an enemy, for a red Orb wielder an enemy will release one or more Orbs depending on damage, speed and amount of attacks. These Orbs are collected to fuel a more powerful berserker-esque attack that lasts for a few moments. When in this mode the dead will provide blue Orbs, providong energy for an even more powerful attack form. The final attack form can simply be extravagant attack power speed and so on, or it can be a doomsday type ranged attack and so on.

I am currently completing the game, should take less than a week. There are nine levels to each of the seven characters (1 more unloackable beyond the 6 above) each level unlocks new combos and adds to old ones, also allows for better items, better weapons, faster speed, more health and attack/defense etc.

If you have played and enjoyed game like Dynasty warriors or Kingdom under Fire then you will love this game and see why it is BW worthy.

Dunno if I'll ever get it off the ground though.
