Penesound?

Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask, but does anyone know where I could download Penesound? I missed getting it from hiigara com, which I figure is now down indefinitely.

I want to extract the music files from HWC, but I'm under the impression homesong garbles the sound due to nonmatching bitrates with HW (or something similar). Penesound seems to be the only way to properly get AIFRs out of WXDs.

Otherwise, is there any documentation or source code relating to the WXD format floating around?

Yeah, I did quite a thorough board and Web search before posting here.

The annoying thing is I've downloaded it several times before, but I habitually delete such tools as soon as I'm finished with them.

Well geez, I never thought of that. ;-\ Seriously, I've tried quite hard to find it without annoying people by asking here. All the Web sites link to hiigara.com or a-fluffy.demon.co.uk, both of which are dead.

OK, does anyone know where there are people who know where to get Penesound? I'm really desperate; I love HW1 and HWC music (and HW2 to a lesser extent). There is no HWC soundtrack, so the only way to get the music is to rip it from the game (which is pretty low quality, but better than nothing). I've managed to find this http://www.strategyplanet.com/homewo...catamusic.html but I understand that Penesound might be able to rip the tracks properly (these are either truncated or have buggy lengths).

Doesn't look like Penesound is on there though.

I dug through the relicnews ftp where I stored a lot of old modding tools and other doodads but couldn't find anything either.
If you can wait a few days I can ask Delphy for you (he's currently on vacation), maybe he still has it mirrored somewhere.

@Moe: The link doesn't work due to a hotlinking guard. You just need to enter the URL directly. It'd still be great if Delphy rehosted it for 'future generations' though. :-) There's no point in letting a useful tool effectively disappear.
