    Update History_______
    Beta:
    All of the ships are faster resulting in a faster paced game.
    The Keeper race is playable and I've finally got the AI to work perfectly for them, so you can play for or against the Keeper.

    Version1:
    I rebalanced the Assult Mover and Keeper Attack driod. The Mover shoots alot faster and is very efective agains fighter, however frigates and corvettes are very efective aginst it. And the attack droid had about the same stats as the stock intersepters.

    Version2:
    I added in the Vagar Swarmer and the anti-capitalship Vagar Sniper Corvette. Along with creating a Multigun Corvette and long range Bomber for the Higgy. Also you can now build 2 shipyards and only 2 shipyards using all of the unit cap settings.

    Version3:
    The cruiser has been compleatly made over and the Chimera Station has been militerized. I reskinned the ui, and did a few bug fixes. I created a new came mode to go along with the old fasioned Deathmatch that allows you to use alternit starting fleets. Trust me CMM has been revolutionalized.

    Version3.2:
    CMM v 3.2 has been released. Mostly its an update for the Keeper AI. They now have a tech tree and build everything from AttackDroids to Dreadnaughts. The super ships such as the Dreadnaught and Heavydestroyer take a long time to build though so you'll need to get numbers up on them.

    Recruiting__________
    Modeler (Only needs to be able to export to a .obj you dont need to have Maya)
    Skinner (Again only needs to be able to work with an .obj)
    Script Editor(Need some help to get everything done)

    - Corvette Class Movers... Err... Well, I don't like the models so much and Droids do a better job (by far). Maybe a Missile Mover would be more useful.

    - A second Destroyer model is needed. Heavy and Summoning are the same model.

    - A Keeper Mothership is needed. The Bentus just looks weird. Nice, but out of context.

    Probes are needed. Keeper utility models are needed (currently Hiigaran models).

    Thanks for the feed back. I aware of all of this and thats why my mod is currently still a beta. I personally can't adjust or creat any new models and am having trouble finding a modeler or getting someone to give me a few HODed ships. And about the movers I'm currently readjusting thier arment so that they are more balanced.

    I've adjusted the Movers and Attack Droids so that thier more balanced, and I've added a few ships to the Higgy fleet!

    And thanks Zatch but I never seen the error dialog before, do you have any idea of what it means? I've tried hard to make my mod crash ubt in 5-6 hours of test play I can't get it to.

    That error simply means an API called "SaveAll" provided by the Lua dll was not able to be found.

    adecoy95, does this error only happen with this mod, or with homeworld 2 itself. Either SaveAll isnt a value call in LUA, or your missing the DLL file with that api defined as an export. Suspect files would be Lua.dll and LuaConfig.dll inside your Bin/Release folder. If either of these are corrupted or missing, that would be the problem. Otherwise, something in the mod is making a function that does not exist. Do a windows search for files that contain the text "SaveAll" in the data directory (extract the files from the mod big first and put them in the data directory).

    this mod is ok its still a work in progress right? i hope to see more out of this one it seems to be fun last time i played it

    Of course! Version 1 means its only the first version thats not a beta. When I add small updates I will increase the tenths place and when I compleatly update everything I will up date the integer, but yes this is very WIP. Expect many more updates as time goes on.

    Glad you enjoyed my mod.

    Version 2 is out!

    What I added:
    Higgy:
    Standoff Bomber (A Anti-CapitalShip bombercapable of slowly eating away at heavy armour far away enough to avoid its anti fighter weaponry.)

    Multigun Corvette (An light but agile corvette that is a very capable in the anti-fighter role.)

    Vagar:
    Swarmer (A fleet of beefed up scouts that can almost hold its own agains other fighters.)

    Sniper Corvette (A Anti-CapitalShip corvette capable of slowly eating away at heavy armour far away enough to avoid its anti fighter weaponry.)

    For all unitcap settings you can have 2 and only 2 shipyards.

    Ok I've downloaded it and am testing it now.

    Edit: After testing Hiigarian.

    I find the Higgy standoff bomber is a little overpowered. (so far I've only played as Higgy) Paired with the mutigun corvette or flack firgates.

    A problem with all of your new ships is they currently don't have a picture or icon.

    Also the mutigun corvette's turrets don't turn, and there's only one turret on the bottom of the ship.

    A good thing is the artillery cruiser is nicely balanced, though it could use some PDS wepons.


    Overall nicely balanced. Of course I have yet to test the Vaygar.

    Will update in a while with results as Vaygar. Anyways it looks good right now.



    Vaygar:

    Once again you need icons for all of the new ships.

    Now about the sniper corvette, it, like the Higgy Standoff bomber needs some tuning down.

    But this side is mostly doing well. I don't see as many problems on this side as I saw on the Hiigarian side.


    So overall you've been working hard and it shows in the quality of this mod, It's simple changes that make the game very complex and exciting.

    What do you mean by this? I have Icons for all the ships showing there model and fleet size. I have yet to custimize the icons but they're there.

    Thanks I had no idea about this one. I send you a fixed .ship later, unfortunantly I'm having trouble adding the finishing touches to my mod as dad still wont give my back my Homeworld2 disk!

    Now about the sniper corvette, it, like the Higgy Standoff bomber needs some tuning down.
    I'l probable make them a little more expensive instead of tuning them down, in my opinion the strike craft in Homeworld 2 are underpowered, and what is your oppinion about the new gametype's starting fleets?

    And people I realy need some custom HODs. Any HOD will do. In fact I'm willing to do some scripting for HODs. SO will anybody let me use custom HODs.

    I ment the icons/image that shows up when you select the ship, it also doesn't show up in the build menu.

    Thats they're there on my computer. Could you take a screenshot of the build menu with a custom ship selected? That would help me out alot.

    Check out the first page for deatails. Trust me CMMV3 is a lot better than V2. I've reskinned the ui, added new game types, and pretty much changed everything.

    Edit: I was able to load a game today, but the problem is still there.

    Now I think that we should wait until someone else downloads and tests it before we try anything to fix the problem.

    Classicthunder, hi and hello! Well, I was curious and tried your mod. It's nicely done, really! Nevertheless, I've a few comments, if you allow:

    - I didn't have any problems with any icon, everything is as it should be.

    - Generally, I found that game play is running quite fast. Not the movements of ships, but research and build. I mean, I had my first artillery cruiser (great ship, btw.) after about 10 or 15 minutes, followed by a battle cruiser, a couple of minutes later. No hard criticism, but, after playing endless sessions of Complex (where you have to 'wait' for your first battle cruiser, sometimes 2 or 3 hours), this really came as a surprise to me.

    - Swarmers are fun. Even if I primarily associate that chubby compact Kadesh-design with them, combined with extreme weapons strength and, therefore, I wonder, which one is the role of a swarmer squadron in comparison to a scout squadron, where the latter is just smaller and not that much poorer in performance.

    - Although, I did not yet finish my first multiplayer, I have the feeling that the Hiigaran party appears to be a little over-powered. I'm not sure, that's only a first impression.

    I'm glad the icon issue isn't an issue. I think the rar compersion of the files was what saw messing up the .tgas.

    Thanks that is one of the main objectives in my mod. Pesonally Complex about put me in a coma. With CMM I'm trying to keep the stategy element of Homeworld 2 strong while providing some action.

    The swarmer is ment to bridge the gap between the scout and interseptor. 2 swarmer fleets can destroy a interseptor whil three to four scouts would have there buts kicked. The swarmer is a scout with less sensor eqipment and more firepower.

    I can understand why it would seem like that for the Higgy have many more ship options over the Vagar. However, thay are balanced even if the Higgy side is more flexible because of the extra ship options.

    Sorry for the lack of updates but I"ve been working on the Keeper AI, and am proud to say it now works properly . I have added in a tech tree that the AI uses properly. After the next update when you play the keeper they build Dreadnaughts, Heavy Destroyer, and everything else. Soon thanks to the new CFHodEd I will soon hame new Keeper ships added in! Also I'm getting HomeBoy to give me some forum and websight hosting so soon that will be fixed as well. Sorry to be so long guys I've been pretty busy.

    One QUestion any other one tried to run the mod on 1600 * 1200 ???
    If I select these solution the game doesn't strart anymore

    in addition to that i have random crash to desktops when playing keeper with 5 CPU and every race ingame. Hw2.log has no useable outputs ..

    When I click on the exe, after downloading the file, something tries to connect to the Internet. Of course I denied access, but I wonder why the self extracting thing wants to connect to the Internet...


    Droids are still called "driods". Please fix that glitch.
    Droids are too slow (well, the attack droids are too slow).

    The Keeper flagship is still the Bentus and it's too big.

    When playing Keeper, I tried to click on an ennemy swarmer squad. The Icon doesn't appear, I just get a white square thing (where the icon should be), with a red HP bar.

    That's all for now, I only tried this new version for a few minutes.
