    Nice mod

    Relic, make HW3 fast so that the awesomeness of this mod gets a go with higher poly's

    missions are hard though, how can i avoid having galactica vaporised in the "33" mission?

    Run away. If a mission is to hard, you can press the Z key (with nothing selected) after the intro of the mission to complete it.

    The Galactica's flak has been on the list of things to be looked at (just a question of when) because it seems that missiles are getting in to cause damage too fast.

    What has worked for me in the past is setting galactica to the aggressive stance/suppression fire. Evading by going (not directly) underneath the basestars so both side of galacticas flak can fire. Sometimes doing sharp turns with galactica can cause the missiles to miss their target allowing the flak extra time to shoot them down. In the past it has been possible to complete the 33 mission by destroying the basestars however when the missile damage was changed to a radius of effect a while ago, its never been the case since then.

    trouble in the mission is that the base stars launch volley after volley of missile raiders which devastate Galactica, even if my vipers go after them right after they launch they usually do tonnes of damage.

    Cheers! I like the Bezerk, Shieldstar and Heavy Basestar. Looks like there's been some significant improvements to texturing on what I thought were already pretty decent models.

    I wish I could say how to change the AI for you here but I don't know how they were setup in the 0.4.2 release. Simple thing you have to do is replace the current AI files with Barn's. They should be in the AI folder. Again this can only be done with .rar and .exe installs.

    Ok - since the site is being slow....

    In your AI directory, you should have an LUA file named "default" and two folders. One contains Barnmaddo's AI the other contains the default AI. The LUA file named "default" is a switch that can direct the PC to one folder or the other. Look toward the end of the file and you will see the switch as per the below example where:

    Here - the default AI is in use

    -- which subdirectory in data:ai will we load the default.lua out of
    gs_DefaultAiDir = "default"
    --gs_DefaultAiDir = "barnmaddo"


    And here... barnaddo's AI is in use... see the way the "--" has moved to comment out the default AI instead?

    How can I use the Beserk class and that pocket carrier that I can see in main menu??
    I tried in skirmish (both normal and Full fleets) but there is no option to produce them and they aren't in any starting fleet.

    If they're not ready then what's the point of having unfinished ships in main menu?

    look for the unfbig.exe big file extractor. It should be downloadable from these forums.

    The problem with extractors (I tested 3 of them) is that they can't extract BSG .big (and only BSG .big, other .bigs works fine)

    mr. WHO: I noticed that the big file extractors would get part way through the extraction of the BSG .big and then barf on some strangely formatted files (it might be some of the spreadsheets in the archive or something else, I don't know). I would just run the extraction again and it generally completed.

    I downloaded the newest version after taking a break from RTS gaming, but now i cant play it. Ive tried everything, reinstalling, redownloading the mod. I have the latest patch, and my shortcuts target looks like this "C:\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2\Bin\Release\Homeworld2.exe" -mod hw2bsg-v.0.4.4-win.big -Luatrace

    I can play all the other mods for HW2, but not this. which is a pity because the awesomeness of BSG
    GIEF KILLZONE 2 AND HOMEWORLD 3!

    yes, its in the Data folder. the thing is, that the game crashes when i start playing a game. When the loading bar is full, it crashes.
