special effects and animation that would burn your computer

What if in HW2 you would be able to see the pilot in there cockpit
moving or doing random actions (give opinion) including frigates and above where in the bridge you'd see the personnel moving and things like that OH My? what else would you add

As far as I'm concerned the effects HW2 already has will have enough "wow" factor for me.

I really don't get the point of this thread. Maybe it's the way you worded it. Technically you could add anything to the game effectwise (Like "Om-i-GOD, I w1$h I culd C teh DE4D bodies of Vegor and Hoarigarin p1l0ts af7er i k177ed 7hem wiht my 1337 skilz") It's a really stupid thread as far as I can see :mag:

Actually i thinks its a good thread. Like a wish list
I think it should be locked but Im trying to be nice... play along here

What i would like to see. It would be hard to keep the strategy side in the game but. First person pilot view.

I would like to see a marine frig invasion.

More ship options (power usage sliders, core, weapons, hull management....)

Army personnel. (brought up before in another thread) Were you only get 10000 men and if they die your out of ships.

Basically more advanced options.

As for computer frying effects.... I would like to see ships built like the pod racers in Star Wars Ep.1.

They were built stuffed with 'actual' parts to mimic a true engine, etc. Then when they crashed the animators just let the things go and interact with their enviroment via a sophisticated physics system. And viola' the most realistic cg crashes to date.

I want that kind of detail, in real time, without any fading out of debri ever in game. Now that would be some awe inspiring battle aftermath visuals.
