Community Map Pack Revival

The Community Map Packs have been a way to showcase the best of custom maps that have been produced. It allows an easy way for players to get high quality maps that can be played both in skirmishes and online. At present, four map packs have been created containing 38 maps.

With the upcoming Community Map Pack V, it seemed fitting that the first four were collected together, which is what I have done. All the maps that were in the first four map packs are now available in a single installer, which also gives easy installation for both Dawn of War and Dark Crusade. When the fifth map pack is released I plan to release a new version with this included.

Please download and install this map pack, it gives you some of the best looking and most competitive maps around, and provides a wonderful expansion to a great game.

I dont suppose you could tell me which (if any) Bunker 149 (map) what map packs it in.

It seems to be the only map people play online and so i dont feel the need to use the rest.

Bunker 149 isn't in any of the map packs, as it was created after the map packs were done, it could however turn up in Community map pack V if enough people want it

Great initiative. I wish more people would download this compilation; I'm getting pretty sick of playing the same ~seven, eight vanilla 3vs3 and 4vs4 maps when playing custom team games online.

Argo's survival map pack needs to be integrated into "Community Map Pack V" IMO.

Too few people know of its existence and when i'm in the mood for some 15 waves of ape-shit AI action ie. mindeless meat-grinder style carnage, I cant share the fun with other people online.

I already have the first four, the bunching them up sounds like a good idea.

Also looking for to number V; me needs some DC.

Bunker 149 will only feature in map pack V if you claw the installer code from my cold dead hands.

After such shameless self pimpage on DOWfiles, Bunker 149 certainly doesn't need any more exposure and I'd get lynched by some very respectable DOW mappers if I included it.

Do ALL of these maps work with DC?

I ask because I seem to recall that prior to DC not all maps "worked" with WA, for example. (I could be remembering incorrectly, of course.) So it could be the same problem exists now for DC with early maps for DoW and WA.

Cagecrawler, Thank you for your time and effort to make this possible.

Unfortunately it does not work for me. Oh well. Downloading it is no problem. Then it says it can not be opened cause it is a rar file. I have no idea what it needs to open. My son use to do this kind of stuff for me. Guess I will never be computer lierate.

Downloaded all the other cmp files before and they always installed.

Thank you again for you time spent on this. I realize that you did not have to do this for the community. I applaud your efforts.

You need a programme than can unpack RAR files, like WinRAR(shareware) or 7Zip(freeware). Just do a Google search for them.

Thank you. I will try to find one.

Thank you very much! Found one that worked, but it is only a trial version.

Thank again for all the people who worked on this.

Any time frame on this? and please no stupid maps like comp bash style ones. this game needs more competative/fun 3v3 and 2v2 maps + 1-2 4v4s for good measure.

Thanks for this thread. It seems ever since WA no one grabs these anymore.
