General info In this map you play as Axis and defend against the invading Allied forces. The main objective is to keep at least one of the three officers alive until the 17th SS Panzer Division arrives. Each player will have their own officer to control and players have to decide what's the safest place to be at different times. Base is not always the safest place if it gets pounded by heavy artillery and open fields have snipers and other squads running after the officers. The officers are stronger than normally so they can take heavy damage but if you are lucky enough your officer dies on a direct artillery hit at the beginning of the mission or gets crushed by a tank near the end ![]() The Allied forces will always be controlled by heavily scripted AI so you can only play as Axis (with friends/AI). During the mission you will also get several objectives to complete like escort, kill or defend someone/something. The thing in this map is that it is supposed to be very hard to complete, each minute the Allied forces will get stronger and start using better units and tactics against you so eventually you will be nearly destroyed. At the end a team score will be calculated using stats like: time survived, units killed, units lost, missions completed. The AI has only one difficulty level so the score can be equally compared with other players. You probably need to play the map several times to learn the best defensive tactics against the AI and try to get better team score. Even if you are not good against the normal skirmish AI you should be able to enjoy the map. Looking good! Sounds very interesting to play.
One question though, what if you barricade the chokepoints (that I can see on the screenshots)? Will they push through or ,like skirmish, just sit back? Or is it rather impossible to barricade yourself in? Looking forward anyhow! |

wow. thats pretty nice. i got 4576 or something like that. anyway, any chane for one scripted the other way around? like the allies attack and the axis are scripted to build defenses?

Just tried it alone... and I LIVED xD!!!!!!!!!!!!! (ok with 2 easy AI which didn't do anything) I resorted into hiding but still concentrating on objectives (thank god axis have health packs) and I still got a score of 7649 <(^^,)

Yes you are missing the fact that maps can be distributed in 2 versions;
1# A single *.SGA file, this is the preferred version, this is the map packed for distribution to the end user. this file has to be placed in ; C:\documents and settings\username\documents\my games\company of heroes\ww2\scenarios\*.sga. 2#the editors mapfiles which are several files *.sgb,*.tga etc. these must be placed in ; C:\thq\company of heroes\ww2\data\scenarios\mp\ You may change "C:\thq\" to whereever you installed the game. |

Make sure you are not emptying out any slots before you load the map.
ALL slots must be occupied either by humans or computers. EDIT: I was kind of messing around with this map with scars and I hope Mannerheim won't mind me asking if I could know the variables that are set to the Allies, (like for Axis there are player4, player5, and player6)? |

I've found a cheat way to win. At the right and left hand corners you can build a bunker, place your officer in there and he won't be attacked by anything. The AI will just attack your HQ then camp around it until the timer ends.

so.. Mannerheim ~ If you can... then, we wanna see another type as you know, that's skirmish not a mission...in some other way.. I'D LIKE TO THIS MAP FREELY WITH COMPUTER please~~ ^^ |
