Infantry Skin Pack

CHECK README FIRST when installing.

volks in plain grey uniforms... the leader has panzerfaust on his back

volks with splinter smocks..

SS Grens in 3 different camo shemes

Peadot Gren with stormtrooper pants and shoes and full equipment (gasmask, zeltbahn etc.)

Oakleaf Grens (Fall and Summer included) with complete Volks body and lots of equipment ^^

PanzerElite Abp´s

for those who want to use the ss skins with the panzerelite faction ive made some abps, thanx to HansBlix for the idea.
Skinpack required, this files includes abp files only, no skins at all

Usage: Just like with my skinpack, you´ll have to rename the abp files

EDIT: just in case they dont work, its because i used the scopeless g43 skin and rgms pf slayers skinpack.. so if you got missing rgm, simply do following:

in my abps it reads: "..\\..\\Panzerelite\\Soldiers\\Weapons\\G43",

you have to change it to: "..\\..\\Axis\\Soldiers\\Weapons\\G43 Sniper Rifle",

Sumpftarn 44 Stormtroopers

this time ive also made some ebps and altered the stormtrooper sbps file to have all those variations in one single squad.

PE SS Grenadiere

New Grens for Panzer Elite faction, 4 different variations included.

(Scopeless G43 for PE grens included, so there should be no issues)

Mixed Squad variation

this will put the 4 variants in one single Panzergrenadier Squad.
Added an SS Rottenführer as the Squadleader.

I´d like to thank Slayerknecht for helping me creating normalmaps, for skinparts and for his Tutorials that helped me to work better with photoshop
Credits to tankdestroyer for his nice single panzerfaust model (got it from slayers skinpack)
and finally to halftrack.. who has allways been a standard for historical and optical quality

Mod usage is possible without any permission, but give credits please.

those are my volksgrenadiers.. ive merged skins by slayerknecht and widowmaker to get just the look i want. so no download of the soldiers because i didnt ask for permission

The skin is really nice, I like it. Good work.

Just a little issue.. when zooming out, it becoes quite blurry fast.
You should try to sharpen the mipmaps when saving the skin as dds.

A friend of mine "IISSIIAndres" also made some weapon skins, take a look at his too, maybe you can do similar for the Kar98? He hasn't put them up for download though.

Your skins are very nice and i prefer yours, maybe you can reskin all the small arms and heavy weapons (Mortar, HMG, 50 Cal)

@Angelic: Yeah. The Community is now improving, I think next time we'll have somebody making new infantry models.

i though the grenadier uniform suppose to look like the one you had on the volks one, and waffen SS gets peadots. Its still alot better than original one relic gave us.

the patterns, cloth and especially the helmet covers are pretty cool, good work.

You should definetly edit the gloss and specular map to eliminate the shine on
the helmet, then it will look evena better.

One historical flaw though.. uniform-cut field jackets didnt exist in oakleaf pattern,
The only one produced in camo had the dot44 / Erbstarn pattern.

Oakleaf was widely used, for parkas, trousers, smocks, slipovers, zeltbahns etc...
almost everything else but field jackets.

helmets a little less shiny, grens with camo trousers and volks leader with cap (need to fix this strange edge at the visor)

the kar is still vanilla.. but when the soldiers are finished (i think ill do a new version with camo smocks instead of uniforms as its historical accurate then) i´ll maybe reskin the kar98

Please, reskin all the weapons then, your StG44 Looks so frekkin' good. Also, what makes that those helmets look so good is that I barely notice that they are mirrored.

reskinning weapons is... i dont know how to say. ^^
its strange as you want to see a difference between the new and the vanilla one ^^
or the models are so inaccurate that i simply have no fun reskinning it ^^

as you can see here



i reskinned the g43, but this f*cking (sorry) "cube" on that gun took my "fun at skinning" away ^^

Very nice work on those soldiers. Esspecially the helmet looks great with the stitching. Just in points of historical accurancy there are improvement opportunities.
