Why have both "Good" and "Evil" Fallen Angels in the same army? I had a little Fallen Angels Army in 2nd edition was really fun... but before the cool robed Dark Angels came out, even before the Cypher Model. I love the Fallen Angel idea, although I do prefer them as being more like Mercenaries, than being good people seeking redemption (redemption Dark Angel style is pretty much death, unless they find another way of atonement.) So although I don't understand the good and the bad Angels together, all in all cool idea.

well, the reason is beacuse of the LATD rules states that I can have two Choas troop choices and one squad for Cypher so One squad is with Choas and one squad is working for Cypher. But I do like the idea mercenaries actually sounds better and makes more sense ill give more thought.Another reason the evil and good ones there brothers and that's all they have.Do you think the army is stable enough to win normal games.

Well I should mention in my old army, I used the rules under Cypher in the 2nd edition Chaos Codex where you could have a squad... so I made those my "Veterans" then the rest were in fact just chaos marines. Only I painted them to be Fallen Angels.

Sold them a while ago on ebay heh, I'm a Necron player now. It involved a crappy Cypher conversion though, I thought it was badass at the time, then the model came out and I was forced into shame... and ebay.
And yeah that was the old Chaos Book... back in the day when the Codexes were like 250 pages!!! Full of fluff and alternate rules, thats the only thing I miss from the past of 40k... I don't mind the rules as they are now, but I remember getting the 3rd edition Space Marine book and it didnt even mention the Primarchs... new players had no idea... what a shame. They used to have an awesome chart that showed all chapters, all Primarchs and homeworlds, granted you can get that online now a days anyway. I have ranted and I apologize lol

Yeah they are gone or I would take a pic for you or even sell em to you hehe

seems like the classic is always the best sometimes, ive started a year ago and took me a whole year to make my army. Now I love DA so much i want to make the evil side.that was awesome
if they put that mention all the primarchs in the codex seems pretty tight. But now GW is greedy as hell hardly any body will start TT cuz of the Cost

The last chaos codex I read had enough fluff for me, but the one before it was weak. I'm not much of a player, but I love the fluff and all so I was very disappointed to see the book had virtually nothing but rules. I look at my old Eldar and Tyranid codexes with all the known history of the races, major battles, way of life, and what have you. Them were the days.
