Raven Guard and Imperial Fists
Well, in the Codex there's a lot of mention of both of these chapters. Considering they each have an entire 2 page battle shot I'd assume that GW is going to put emphasis on them (of course nothing like the Ultramarines.....) So anybody have a clue if they're going to update the decals so that we can have more Raven Guard (and Imp fists) decals? I'm not looking forward to painting 100 of the little raven symbols. Also, is Shrike going to be released?
Chances are I'll find the answers myself after posting this, but ah well. Thanks. |

Except I lack the time and effort to paint all the little symbols. Unless I quit my job and slack on the school work... but then I wont' get anymore 40k stuff and my grades will suffer so I can't get into a good college and make more money. So decals are better

i dont think they are going to release any more boxed sets to represent the imperial fists or raven guard. i read the designers notes on the codex and each of the writers decided they wanted to put some characters in to represent other SMs (ie not ultramarines) one choose shrike - fast attack guy, other decided to give and old character and upgrade and hes the bloke in terminator armour who was in the codex before but not as good.
you can buy shoulder pads to represent the imperial fists tho, dont think there is any for raven guard. http://uk.games-workshop.com/storef...1237&orignav=10 |

Its the same as the last SM codex. They put some special character rules in for chapters they dont plan to give thier own rules to so the SM codex is kind of like thier codex as well.
Last codex had an imperial fists, a crimson fist, the emp champ and a salamender guy (okay they gave some rules for the last two forces in the armageddon stuff but not a codec). |

Yeah, I'm not expecting a codex, but a new, more robust decal sheet, and a few articles here and there in WD would be cool. Was looking at the rules for Shrike's Wing and I'm praying they'll release that as a Shrike w/ squad package because I don't feel like paying to make all of them heh.

As already said, Shrike is going to be released. Imperial Fists and Raven Guard are too short mentioned in the Codex. At least in my opinion.
About the decals: Perhaps you should look at this site: http://griffongames.safeshopper.com/43/cat43.htm?409 No Raven Guard decals yet, but they often have new products. |
