HQ-Choas Lord

Elites-Cypher

Troops-20 choas marines with all CC,offspring champion with lighting claws, termie armour, some other stuff

20 CSm ^ same thing

15 Traitor IG with Plasma gun
15 Traitor IG with Plasma gun and Lascannon team
15 Traitor IG with Plasma gun and Lascannon team

Heavy Support

Leman Russ battle tank-with the Lascannon gun too -165 pts

Leman Russ battle tank-with the lascannon gun -165

Baslisk with earth shaker-125 pts.

I wanted a blitzkreig kinda force,I blow everything up and make a safe way for the troops to get into close combat. But I worry about like speed freaks, and Land Raiders, nobs, dreads all the scary things.Think this list can handle well, decent or just crap?

Your list is ok, but here are some suggustions. Get missles for guardsmen if possible so they can kill vehicles. I would give the Basilisk indirect fire too. Give the chaos lord pair of mastercrafted Lightning Claws or a daemon weapon. ACs don't need anything defensive. You may want to give them powerfists instead of lightning claws. I would make the marines in smaller groups too, because one good ordinance shot can wipe out a large amount of them.

Get rid of the Terminator Armour for the 'Aspiring' Champions, it'll only slow the squad down and suck up points. You need to tell us what the Chaos Lord is equipped with, and you'll need an HQ to satisfy the force organisation chart from LatD.

To be honest, we can't really say much about this force- what does "some other stuff" mean?

Ok the choas lord I was thinking of giving him a pair of lighting claws or single with a some combi weapon I have old Choas lord.Well in chaos codex,it says the sqaud can take one special weapon if it dosent take like a special gun.But I dont get it with a special weapon does it mean like ligthing claw, powerfist. Then I want those weapons it has a star by it and it says only men in termie armour can take lighting claws, powerfist, and power weapons that's why the Champions have termie armour so I can take those weapons.

Ive seen Champions with powerfist, and power weapons without termie armour I dont get it.I do have indirect fire that's why the balisk cost 125,the IF cost 25 pts I added it on.So get rid 2 Plasma guns and have some rockets. But I want the 40 marines go into battle with some decent weapons than pethidic chainswords.Im using the lost and damned rules and you can only take two squads of Choas marines.

The asterixes just mean that guys in terminator can take them, not that only terminators can take them. It's to ensure there are no terminators with stupidly small weapons or things like bikes which would be totally unfluffy, and impossible.

It's a common mistake, and it saves you quite a few points

Haha, welcome to marines!

Plus, having 20 marines in one squad, is a VERY BAD IDEA. Especially for combat specialists, you will do much more damage is you split them down. 8 Men in a groupd is normally the max you need, too many attacks in combat is overkill, and a waste because you can only kill all enemies within 2", those attacks could be in a separate unit and be killing someone else.

yah but I can spread them out and have 10 on front and back that will be good enough for CC.But Ill be blowing up the living crap out of them then I bounce on them while they are weak or concentrate on one side.

If this list is meant to be fallen angels shouldnt ur tanks be marine tanks not guard ones, Predators instead of russ's etc?

I like the Blitzkrieg idea by the way
