Yeah, mine is poking along at 12.3 KB/s, while my AOE3 demo is downloading at 439 KB/s!

Meshu Guest	What bit torrent is, basically, is a method of file distribution, that instead of hogging the bandwidth of sites, uses the upload of users downloading(and seeding, which is hosting really) to supply the download of other users, you download different bits and all the downloaders send to each other at the same time. It's like an advanced peer to peer, that forces people to upload(because the more you upload the faster you download!).

orangeguru Guest	Europe currupted? Mirror (Europe) ONLINE Just finished my download and started the patcher. It stops in the middle of the patching with an error (corrupted archive ir something). Now my DOW install is *******. Can't the installer verify itself before patching?! Now I have to reinstall the game and download the file from another source (I don't trust that german mirror again.) :-(

Old Painless Da Seriuzly Bad Dok of Balance Join Date: Jun 2005 Location: In a Bioship, coming to eat ur planets	I am downloading the bittorrent file using the suggested ABC software, i am getting a min or 13kBps and max of 30kBps. This is around 20kBps faster than the THQ miror, i guess they are really loaded toi the max at the moment so your looking at a 4-5 hour download that way, max 4 hours on bittorrent maybe less. The more people that download on bittorrent and keep sharing after download the faster we will all get the file. I will be seeding after the d/l so lets get everybody up and running ! Allright, my host seems to have screwed something up, and I can't read the site via FTP anymore, the thing has gone down. I'll attempt to remove the link so others won't download a corrupt patch as well. I'm sorry, I don't know what happened there - it worked perfectly for me when I test-downloaded it.
