Locutus: Its 3mm depleted uranium teardrops, and in some versions of the gravguns they are mentioned to be in a single magazine, e.g one magazine holding thousands of rounds (ref. Hymn Before Battle) while the latter books would indicate the internal magazines of the suit feeding to the gun. That would require some sort of belt-feeding mechanism, especially when considering that the gun has a rate-of-fire of 500 rounds per second.
klaami: The suits are not completely featureless, the Grim Reaper suits for example are more bulbous than the regular warrior suits for example. And altough the suits are mentioned to be nearly featureless, it would give the different units some differentiating factors if they had atleast some differences built into them. |

BitchX: I mean featureless as in no rasied ridges, insignia's etc. The diffreetn suits, scout, maurader, engineer, command and reaper suits are all different. For example, the engineers look like walking bunches of grapes. However the other suits are described as having a slightly muscled look. Now of course, badges will be implemented. I'm also thinking about using the randomizer to denote different heights in the troops

2 updates for you guys, 1st is a little work done to the maurader suit. Helmet is a place holder until I get a chance to re-read the books and see if Ringo describes them.
![]() 2nd its my start on the Banshee Mk I Armored Transport. Its unarmed, stealthy, very fast and manuverable and capable of flying through the after effects of a nuclear detonation, though not directly through the fireball. ![]() ![]() |

Kurohyou, thanks for the compliment and I'll definately look you up when I need a mapper. I'm a beginning modder so I made the suit the only I knew how - piece by piece with cylinders. And alot of vertex editing with some soft selection. The fingers and the boot toes were the only parts I extruded

Hey guys, I'm still here and still chugging along. Had to take a real life break, my grandfather bought the farm, and I met my future wife, so things have been crazy. I hope you guys are still interested in the mod as I do have some progress to report. I've finalized the scout suit.
![]() This is the pack that will fit right there on the scout ![]() then there's the m-4 bradley. barring any other changes, this one is finished too ![]() the wip m1a2E abrams with 2 guns pods consisting of 4 25 mm bushmaster cannons each. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to scale the gun pods up a bit, too ![]() i intend to beef it up to look like this t-72 armor wise ![]() Finally, the marauder suit wip ![]() |

The arms seem fine to me. They should come down to about 1/3 to 1/2 way down the thigh like they seem to. They might be a bit skinny, but then again that just might be cause he does look a bit fat.
The only thing I would change is his chest. It almost seems like his "chin" ends right in his pectorals - no neck. Maybe it's just the slope of the faceplate that makes me think this though. Anyway, no matter how you look at it, good work klaami, keep it up. |

thank you. the no neck look is intentional, the helmet does not move at all. a small update, fixed the leg seams and a few other things. The bulges are ammo bins. ![]() |
